Although formally presented under an "educational" or social commentary veneer, the staging prioritizes softcore entertainment (nudity and touching) over any structural rigor or orthodoxy. Evaluated from a historical perspective, Campus Pussycats (its original U.S. release title) reflects the sexual liberation of 1970s West Germany and the saturation of the commercial film market with adult content.
